It would probably take negociating with constructors. Sony would probably be a prick about it. Microsoft would probably try and get Larian to do it through Twitch App or something (*cough*Minecraft*cough*). I'm not even sure Nintendo know what modding a game means, but considering how they've been opening up lately it might be doable.
There were also some character appearances from the first Divinity. A few things I didn't care much for was the inability to craft a lot of unique weapons, diminished AP, and the polymorph spells. In Divinity 1 I equipped my characters with a lot of summoning spells and I felt like in Divinity 2 these types of spells were scarce.

While you have the real feeling of controlling the character as oposed to telling them where to wlak to, you have an additional function which is to check your surroundings with a single push of a button. Also you can rotate the camera in a much fluid way.
