played with a logitec controller but its seen as a 360 one however its wireless didnt work at all by that i mean no response. now i use a microsoft one s controller and still the reverse isnt working driving flying and on a boat and chopper using B to lower it isnt working only aim. any configuration i can get so it does work? and no ubisoft can kiss my ass when it comes to their support Thank you. I do not expect any resolution for such an old game, but for anyone else who is experiencing this problem this is the steps I took to use my Playstation 4 Dualshock with Far Cry 5 through Steam. - Disable Steam's controller support so that it does not recognize that a controller is connected. Use ds4windows by ryochan7 not the old one and make sure to install hidHide driver in the setup page when done go to settings and tick hide ds controller. I use it with my ps5 controller and works great. You can add FH in Steam as a "non-Steam local game" and launch it from there, your Steam controller settings and other basic functionality will be kept even if a game is non-Steam. 1. So everything was fine, but for some reason far cry primal doesn't recognize my controller anymore. Iv tested it on 3 steam links and its the same on each. Im on the latest beta on client and latest pulic build on host, and im using the PS4 controller. I'm seeing the same behavior on my PC with a Steam To do this, shut down Steam through task manager, find the Steam app/desktop app, right click it and run it as admin. That worked for me. If it doesn't, browse Far Cry's local files, go to "bin" and set all of the FarCry5 exe's to administrator priviliges in properties >compatibility. No reverse or brake with controller. This problem has existed for years now. I found an old thread about it and what worked for some didn't work for me. One would think the devs would've addressed this in one of their updates.
